One event I've been to in the past and has the appropriate level of Schtick is the Mangum Rattlesnake Roundup Derby held every year in Mangum, OK. I used to live in Altus, about 15 miles south, and this was pretty much the high point of the year. [ML Haberichter, 03/28/1998]
