World's Tallest Barber Shop Pole Billed as the "World's Tallest Barber Pole," it's actually 72 feet (29.95) meters tall.
The easiest way to find it is to go north on Main St. from OR Highway 8 (Pacific Highway) about 4 1/2 blocks and look for the small parking lot on the right-hand side, next to the running track / soccer field - the pole is on the edge of the parking lot. [Daniel L. Jones, 05/09/2010]
