Casa Bonita Restaurant

It's back...again! Casa Viva, which closed last winter, has reopened as Casa Bonita, and is once again owned by the same folks that run the Lakewood Colorado operation. Flag raising, cave dining, and all-you-can-eat sopapillas live on, however, the carousel and talking buffalo head are STILL missing...

This is the original Casa Bonita, which opened three years before the one in Colorado. It's slightly smaller, and it's never had cliff divers -- the lagoon is apparently too shallow.

Casa Bonita Restaurant

It's back in all of its flag raising glory! Well, sort of... the restaurant formerly known as Casa Bonita has been renovated and reopened as Casa Viva. Sadly, the carousel and talking buffalo head are missing; however, the waterfall is flowing again, and patrons are once again dining in the newly restored cave.

Casa Bonita Restaurant - Tulsa

There is a Casa Bonita in Tulsa, OK similar to the one in Colorado. I've been there several times, and while the food is so-so the atmosphere more than makes up for it.

Casa Bonita offers an over-the-top Mexican dining experience -- Tulsa features an indoor volcano and a waterfall.
