Bra Tree

I should not be surprised that there are Bra Trees since there are so many Shoe Trees. The Bra Tree I found is about 1/3 up the slope on the Arizona Snow Bowl Ski Lift - on the uphill side of course - and you won't be able to see it except during the summer. I pointed it out to the person I shared the lift chair with and he doubted that any woman would lift her top, pull off her bra and toss it off there. He thought the girls would have brought an extra bra in their purses.

My rebuttal was if that reasoning were correct, there would have also been a panty tree. The location of the bra tree is significant because shortly beyond, the ski lift becomes steeper and the temperature abruptly drops some 15 degrees more. I think most plans to toss bras would end at that elevation and there would be no interest at all on the downward trip. [Tom Stradt, 08/07/2005]
