There is also a jail in the square that has been converted into a museum. The jail was the last one to hang a man in East Texas. The museum is a few dollars a person, and free to children under 10. There is a large fishing industry -- the Toledo Bend Lake is man-made, and there are plenty of bass, crappie and other breeds. [Denise, 08/06/2005]
