- US 40 three miles east of Uniontown. At the crest of Summit Mountain (look for the Summit Inn) turn left (north) on Jumonville Rd. Around three miles to the Jumonville Retreat Center, on the right. Office is second bldg on your left after you come through the entrance with the 4 flagpoles.

Located at Jumonville, Pennsylvania, USA, this huge steel cross is the largest in the world. Dedicated on September, 9, 1950, the 60-foot high cross stands atop a six-foot tall concrete base on Dunbar's Knob, which itself is 2,480 feet above sea level. On a clear day you can see three states, Pennsylvania, Ohio and West Virginia from the base of the cross.
