Lewisberry, Pennsylvania: Gravity Hill - Ghost Children

Park near the train tracks, and the ghost children from a doomed school bus may push you away! Locals insist the bus tragedy never happened. Illusion or baffling anomaly -- you decide.

Gravity Hill - Ghost Children

This is really cool and actually works. Very dangerous given the busyness of the intersection.

Gravity Hill

This was, hands down, an amazing experience. Who cares about why it does it? I say that simply because there is no one out there that they can say they know exactly why your vehicle backs up the hill in neutral. Whatever it is, is just pretty wicked, and it's definitely not an illusion.

Gravity Hill

Gravity hill may have gravity there, but it stops there. I haved lived near there for 62 years. Never a train track, and sorry, no bus accident that killed kids. Unless you can show a date and an accounting of this story, end it here. My sisters, brother and I walked that road and picked berries in the fields around there when it was a dirt road. Never a train went by. We went to the one-room schoolhouses, too. Sorry, no bus remembered by any of us or our friends that lived there for 70-plus years.

Well worth the trip! Very real and very cool. A great experience for believers and non-believers alike.

Gravity Hill - Ghost Children

This is the second Gravity Hill we have done and it is most certainly able to be filed in the column of "Things to Make You Go Hmmmmm." We didn't bother with baby powder, but the SUV definitely did roll backwards and UP the hill.

This is a great diversion when in the Harrisburg area!
