Daffin's Chocolate Kingdom displays a sculpture of Mr. Daffin (not made out of chocolate).

Daffin's Chocolate Kingdom

Daffin's Kingdom does have the giant chocolate turtle and many other large chocolate creatures. But after two attempts (15 years apart!) to find the chocolate bunny, I have confirmed that it is not out for repairs (as family legend has it) but rather is at a separate location, the Daffin's factory. The factory is not far from Daffin's Kingdom, and it supposedly has tours, but not in the summer.

Sharon claims not one, not two, but three "world's largest" stores, including the World's Largest Candy Store: Daffin's Chocolate Kingdom. I'm not sure what measure they use for this, although it is definitely a very large candy store, with a huge selection of chocolate. Very nice people!

Sharon also touts: the World's Largest Shoe Store, Reyer's (W. State St., Downtown Sharon). I'm not sure what measure they use for this, but i've definitely seen larger shoe stores. They claim to have 175,000 shoes in stock (womans, mens, and kids).

Off Price Fashion Store. And the World's Largest Off-Price Fashion Store: The Winner (W. State St., Downtown Sharon). I was with two girls -- Karin and Lisa W. -- who went crazy when they saw the sign. Definitely an interesting experience. Overall, Sharon, PA seems to take a little 'creative liberty' with using the term "World's Largest", but they have some interesting stores for a short side trip. The town's other claims to fame are the original Quaker Steak and Lube bar and restaurant (with several classic cars suspend from the ceiling), home of "The Club" auto security device, and the "World's Oldest Pizza Kitchen" - although that's also a pretty big claim to make.

The Chocolate Kingdom includes a 700 lb. sculpted chocolate rabbit, 400 lb turtle, other gratuitous chocolate sculptures.
