Bisbee, Arizona: Bicycle House (Gone)
Someone took a boxy, drab house and made it special by taking garden tools, furniture, and bicycle parts, painting them orange, and sticking them all over its green exterior. Art, or inverted hoarding? Doesn't matter now; we hear it's sold with all decorations removed.
- Directions:
- From the north on Hwy 80, take the first exit after the tunnel (West Blvd). Turn right and follow West Blvd -- which quickly turns into Tombstone Canyon Rd -- for just over a mile. After you pass a Circle K the house will be on the left, between Curve St. and Oak Ave.
- Hours:
- April 2014: Reported sold, decorations gone.
- Status:
- Gone

It is actually green with orange stuff hanging all over it, and was originally a bus station. It is currently on the market for sale.

This is already in your database, but address is 225 Tombstone Canyon, Bisbee. Owners have moved away, so house may be sold soon.
[Azred, 09/11/2008]Located just north of the downtown area of Bisbee, is a wonderful and whimsical gray and orange house with all kinds of things attached to its outer walls. There is a bicycle, helmets, garden tools, furniture, all appearing to just be suspended in mid-air, but actually attached to the building's frame. I've never seen anything like it.
