The museum isn't really organized, because they have so much stuff that they need to cram into so little space. Also on the grounds is the Connecicut Bus Museum, apparently half a dozen old buses in varying states of disrepair.
The Trolley Museum is a great place in and of itself. You can ride on any number of vintage trolleys, and go through the building and see several others. [douglas, 10/25/2005]
