Visiting area and had to stop by! Very well kept and in her own little fenced area. Looks like she is lit up at night by a couple spotlights.

Giant Cow

My grandparents used to take me here when it was a dairy selling and serving milk products. They called the cow Dinah, as in first name "Dinah" and last name "Three-O-Ninah!" So the name seems to be consistent!

Giant Cow

The Giant Cow actually has a name! She is "ThreeOnina." My wife tells me that's the name, which reflects the fact that she stands alongside Route 309, that was selected as part of a contest held sometime in the 1960s. We believe the contest was sponsored by a dairy that was located there possibly in conjunction with an area radio station.

The dairy, station, and exact date have long faded from our memory. But the name remains and "ThreeOnina" still stands by the side of the road!

The Giant Cow is back to being brown again. Looks good. Located in front of an Amish shed place (no name). Next to Valley Power Equipment Inc on 309.
