Under the big blue bug.

Big Blue Bug

The Big Blue Bug has been outfitted with a red and white striped necktie by its rooftop owners. Formerly known as New England Pest Control, the company has been renamed Big Blue Bug Solutions, and the necktie seemed an appropriate fashion statement for a Bug that's now a company namesake. Owner Stephan Goldman is turning over control of the bug-wrangling business to his sons, who felt that the name change (and necktie) made sense because the Bug is better known than the company.

Nibbles Woodaway - Blue Termite

Nibbles left his perch for the first time in 22 years on June 20, 2002 to embark on a four-stop tour prior to being repainted and refurbished. Appearances in Bristol, RI's, 4th of July Parade, at the Warwick Benny's at 2574 West Shore Road (July 13), and at Roger Williams Park Zoo in Providence and Cardi's Superstore in Swansea, MA, will allow everyone a chance to love the bug up close. He's scheduled to return to the roof of New England Pest Control on August 18.

Big Blue Termite

This may not be noteworthy but you can certainly verify it with New England Pest Control...I am proud to say that I am the only Rhode Islander to have an authentic Big Blue Bug tattoo. I had Nibbles Woodaway permanently etched on my body on 10/26/98. I'm even going to get to meet the big guy!
