Queens, New York - Muffler Man - 1964-65 New York World's Fair 
New York World's Fair enthusiast Bill Cotter -- who shot thousands of slides as a kid in 1964-65 -- sent us this photo of a Paul Bunyan-style Muffler Man at the entrance to the Oregon Pavilion. There has been speculation that this character is the one that ended up in Ortley Beach, NJ -- but other Bunyans in the metropolitan region are also possibilities.
