Mr. Wheat's Minuteman Missile The minuteman missile was on my route (close enough), so I decided to stop and have a peek. The missile, however, is not where it was in the previous report. Granted, the town is all of about 200 yards through, but I thought I'd let you know what I found. The missile is now on the north side of ND13, next to a motel called Motel Omega just on the way out the west side of town.
As for the fence and barbed wire? They're both gone and you can walk right up to the missile and touch it. The plaque is still in front of it. [Kristy, 09/12/2006]
