Pioneer Auto Museum
We stayed overnight in the hotel next to the Auto Museum and had to check it out before we got back on I-90. I could have spent all day there, but we had to go. I liked the old train caboose from the 1870's and a replica of The Duke's General Lee. The Murdo Auto Mueseum is definitely a must see along I-90. I can't wait to check it out again.
[Bruce Thome, 08/15/2006]It has been reported that the Murdo Auto Show, Murdo SD, kicks serious ass. This fascinating attraction, easily accessible to I-90, features a funeral hack from the 1800's and a Mercury leadsled. Plus for the finicky it has Two(count 'em) BMW Isettas. As you can probably tell, I love this joint. It's even more fun than the Corn Palace in Mitchell.
[Eric Helmke, 03/26/1997]By I-90, plenty of signs. This place is a don't miss for anyone who remotely likes old cars. Plenty of kitsch, but really delivers the goods. Family owned and developed with a real love for all cars evident. I visited last on or about August 1 1996."
