On Highway 231 south going from Sylacauga to Rockford, there is an old church built in the 1800s that has a graveyard on both sides of the highway with huge marble steps going up to each one. On a late, quiet night you can hear a baby crying when standing on these steps. Never heard of any legends or tales about it, but it will unnerve you when you hear it.
