An enduring Gatlinburg religious attraction, voluntarily expelled in Jan. 2008 to make way for development. Building demolished in Feb. 2022.

Christus Gardens, late of Gatlinburg, Tennessee, is now located in and a part of "The Holy Land Experience" in Orlando, Florida. The attraction is owned by Trinity Broadcasting Network. which bought all the Christus Gardens mannequins and props.

[Bill Cotter, 02/01/2012]The attraction that was once in Gatlinburg is finding a new home in Orlando at the Holy Land Experience theme park. The marble face of Jesus is already on display outside the main gate of the park and the new attraction containing the wax figures from Gatlinburg is due to open before the end of the year inside the park.

Note that the Christ in the Smokies Museum in Gatlinburg is staying in Gatlinburg. But the exhibits from the old Christus Gardens are being moved to The New Holy Land Experience in Orlando. Makes sense, since Trinity Broadcast Network (which owns the Holy Land Experience) bought the old Christus Gardens exhibits.
