Branch Davidian Massacre Site
Residents and Trustees Charles and Alexa Pace invite you to come visit the Branch Davidian Massacre Site between the hours of 9 AM until dusk, seven days a week, unless the weather is bad. If the gate is closed we are not taking any visitors. Please do not try to force the gate open. We do not charge admission but appreciate donations to help us maintain this historic site. We are willing to give tours upon request for a small donation, and have brochures and DVDs available, also for a small donation, that tell the real story of what happened here. Please visit our church or office if you're interested in obtaining the "Waco Murder" DVD. Thank you and God Bless you.
[Charles Pace, 09/14/2017]Went to visit but there were clear signs on the gate that said "Private Property" so I didn't want to trespass.

We arrived to find the gate open, yet were hesitant to enter. The friendly man across the street mowing his grass stopped his mower, and told us that since the gate was open we could go as far as the church. We drove up to the church, and realized it was built on the same site as the compound. Remnants of the pool and underground storage facility were visible, along with numerous monuments. Definitely interesting if you are into offbeat sites.
Note: there was indeed a barking dog, but we drove right by and went up to the church anyway. On the way out, we stopped at the memorial. The dog barked again, but eventually approached us and calmed quickly.

Site is owned privately but visitors are welcome between 8AM and dusk IF the gate is open. New church down the dirt road from the memorial has a leaflet in box in front (donation requested) describing the events and has a map of the original buildings.
An information sheet about the site is available at the Waco tourist office, next to Texas Ranger Museum.
[Jerry Day, 12/05/2015]Went there recently and the no trespassing signs sort of concerned me too. However, after some thought, I decided to venture in. I believe the signs apply whenever the gates are closed. There is a memorial there, after all.
