Hayti, Missouri - Pink Elephants - Gone We visited Hayti in summer of 2008. The elephants were gone, but Patty Ann's was open. I believe there were problems with people wanting to climb on the elephants so the owners had them removed.

Hayti, Missouri - Large Fiberglass Animals I just passed through Hayti last weekend, and did not see all the fiberglass animals mentioned by the other traveler. The ice cream cone is still present, and there are two large chickens by or on buildings on each side of the road, but none of the other animals were hanging around.

Hayti, Missouri - Large Fiberglass Animals At exit 19 off Hwy 55, sits Patty Ann's Hickory Pit BBQ. The restaurant is closed, but there is a collection of large fiberglass animals and other items, including an ice cream cone, a Native American, a pig, a cow, a rooster and 2 pink elephants. While the pig is close to life-size, the cow is smaller. Visible from the highway headed southbound.
