Coulee City, Washington - Dry Falls Shrine Dry Falls Shrine is a modest, privately-maintained religious site located at a private residence near the eastern Washington farming community of Coulee City. Also close by is the fantastic geologic formation known as Dry Falls (worth a trip for geology nuts!). Whether the shrine's significance is tied to the
town, the geology, or anything else is unknown to this observer. For some reason I got more spiritual uplift from the magnificent landscape of Dry Falls than from this "place of worship." [Dave Beedon, 08/31/2006][RA: Nice use of cinder blocks.]Address: Coulee City, WA
Directions: North side of State Highway 17, just west of the junction with State Highway 2. This junction is about three miles west of Coulee City. Coulee City is at the south end of Banks Lake, a huge irrigation reservoir associated with Grand Coulee Dam.
