Camp Meade - The Lost Bomber - Gone

Have you ever heard of Camp Meade in Middlesex, VT? This is the place where the person saw the "lost" bomber from the train. There are tanks, too!

It is an army/war theme restaurant. They have cabins that are named "The General Patton", "The Eisenhower" etc. They offer rides on a camouflage amphibious vehicle and provide a foxhole for the kids to play in!

The Lost Bomber

I was taking the train (amtrak) from New York to Essex Junction, Vermont a few years back, I usually sleep until I arrive at my destination, but this time I woke up and looked outside, It must have been somewhere in the middle of Vermont, I saw what I thought to be a B-17G superfortress, a plane that was used in world war II sitting in what looked like a public park. I was mostly alone on the train, so I did not know where it was. I would love to know where this plane was, and what it was doing there.

Another tipster reports this is at Camp Meade, a war-themed restaurant.
