Here's more on the unfortunate tale of Black Diamond. Helena is a ghost town of a community bypassed by the railroad in the 19th century. The old courthouse and post office, along with other buildings, have been preserved as museums by the Karnes County Historical Society. The leg is on display in the post office, as well as a video recounting Black Diamond's story. Most of the rest of Black Diamond can be seen about 250 miles away in Corsicana, Texas
