Out in Moses Lake, Washington at the House of Poverty Museum, the owner Monte Holm died just recently and his partner has let everything rust and run down. It's hard to imagine if this place will be around for much longer with no one to look after the priceless objects exhibited.

According to recent coverage in San Francisco newspapers, it's a treasure trove of one former benevolent hobo-turned millionaire's collection of junk relating to life in the jungles and riding the rails . . . also reports of the largest collection of small gas-powered engines in the lower 48.
