Carrier Bridge in a Farm Field
I had heard that the Texas Air Museum was no longer in Harlingen, Texas, but on a 2006 Rand McNally map it was still listed. My wife and I visited the site and indeed it is gone. However they have left behind what appears to be the conning towers off of two or three aircraft carriers plus a couple of large pieces of airplanes and one heckuva large fire ant hill! Hopefully someone will rescue these pieces of history before they disappear into oblivion.
