We found the "First White Man Dies in America" marker. We also found, at the same gulfside park, three different Juan Ponce de Leon statues. One sits up on a stone edifice with benches in front of it -- very odd. There were also several other markers noting how Florida was named. Good place to stop and move around during long drive.
