Dream project of a builder, three-quarters the size of the one in Washington. Contains an Oval Office and Lincoln bedroom. Built in the early 2000s, but was sold in a foreclosure in 2011. Now it's a private home.

Directions:: On Briarcliff Road, Atlanta, GA between the Clairmont exit and Shallowford Exit. If going you are going north I-85 then take a right off of the exits (Going South take a left) then make a right onto Briarcliff if coming off of Shallowford Road (the house will be on your left). Take a left onto Briarcliff if coming off of Clairmont (the house will be down a ways and on your right). Private residence, visible from street.

Just off of I-85 on Briarcliff Road sits a private home that is a [3/4 scale] replica of the US White House (with I'm assuming guest house). It is one of my favorite things to look at every time I drive home to visit my parents or when I'm walking around the neighborhood. I know in the past there have been actual tours of the house and the grounds. Usually tours are advertised and are on a reservation basis.

As I was driving through a residential area on Atlanta's north side near the perimeter, I had to stop and back up. Is that...the White House? Someone has built their house just like the White House, except a little smaller.
