Demented But Lovable Dog Statue Patrick Amiot's happy dog sculpture is made of a variety of metal junk and equipment cast-offs. Like many of the artist's works, the pooch has one eye protruding more than the other; its nose is a black washtub. The Demented But Lovable Dog stands near the highway and sign for the Sonoma County Humane Society. At the building entrance stands another, smaller Amiot cartoon dog statue.
Amiot has at least 250 of his zany sculptures in the Sebastopol area, but the dog is the largest we've seen. [RoadsideAmerica.com Team, 02/05/2010]
Demented But Lovable Dog Statue You can see the dog from the highway in front of the shelter 24 hours a day. It's made from an old horse trailer and a lot of imagination and scrap aluminum. [Phil Pasquini, 12/07/2006]
