Wilson The Turkey - Deceased Wilson the Turkey has become an Evansville celebrity -- he is often spotted standing in traffic at Petersburg and Campground Road. Wilson is a wild turkey who loves to make the morning commute to work a difficult one because he stands right smack in the middle of the road and forces all the cars to go around him. People have even put up signs telling you to slow down for Wilson the Turkey.
