The Ozarks Smallest Cathedral The Wilderness Road Chapel north of Reeds Spring is the smallest Cathedral in the Missouri Ozarks. The little Cathedral follows in the tradition of other roadside chapels such as the Prince of Peace in nearby Highlandville, which was listed by Guinness as the World's Smallest (It closed after the death of the Most Reverend Karl Pruter and the sale of the property). The Wilderness Road Chapel, named for the nearby historic Wilderness Road, is a wonderful place to pray, contemplate, attend mass, or even get married. The setting Bishop and his staff are always ready to attend to the spiritual needs of those that seek the sanctuary of the chapel.
