Madison, Wisconsin - Paul Bunyan Murals In the Memorial Union (Langdon Street), on the UW-Madison campus, in Madison, there is a Paul Bunyan room. The room is covered in murals depicting various aspects of Bunyan legend. There are some twenty different images. The murals were done during the Depression and were a WPA project. The entire building is attractive. There is a very nice patio in the back facing Lake Mendota. It's a nice spot to stop and have lunch. To find the Paul Bunyan room, enter the main first floor doors at the front of the building. Turn left once inside, there are signs for the room which is also on the left.
