Madison, Wisconsin: Paul Bunyan Murals

In the Memorial Union (Langdon Street), on the UW-Madison campus, in Madison, there is a Paul Bunyan room. The room is covered in murals depicting various aspects of Bunyan legend. There are some twenty different images. The murals were done during the Depression and were a WPA project. The entire building is attractive. There is a very nice patio in the back facing Lake Mendota. It's a nice spot to stop and have lunch. To find the Paul Bunyan room, enter the main first floor doors at the front of the building.
