Safe House - Spy-Themed Club Really cool place. You won't see it all in one trip. It's so much fun. And the food is really good too! Allow plenty of time to see as much of this place as possible. [Jon P, 09/09/2011]
Safe House I saw the Safe House listed on this website and I thought it would be something fun to do. My husband, boys (age 14 & 9), and I were there for about 3.5 hours. We had a great time!
There was a scavenger hunt of "spy themed" items to find...and the Escape Route is one of the best! I have talked non-stop about this since we got home to Boston. A must see.....if you can find it!! (Hint: It's in an alley near the "Bronze Fonz" -- something else to see! -- we are sworn not to reveal location!) [Lisa Moran & Family, 09/08/2010]
Safe House - Spy-Themed Club A unique kind of themed restaurant -- a must-see for James Bond fans! Half the fun was finding it! [John & Liz DeCecco, 08/31/2010]
Safe House - Spy-Themed Club A few years back someone told me about the Safe House in Milwaukee, and I only just made it there yesterday. I grew up in Colorado and have fond memories of Casa Bonita. I can only explain this restaurant as a spy-themed Casa Bonita. There is a secret entrance, you have to use a code word to go inside, and there is all sorts of hidden nooks and crannies, moving walls, and even an ejector seat. [Nathan Richie, 03/28/2010]
James Bond 007's The Safehouse A warning for all of the ladies - the ladies room off of the main bar has a picture of Burt Reynolds a la 1970s. There used to be a heart covering his genitalia (as he is reclining nude in the photo). Now all that remains is the metal plate that was under it, but, investigate and a siren goes off in the bar. Nobody really cares much anymore, but it is darn funny to some of us! [Kate, 07/14/2005]
