Charlie Johnson has been a collector of kitsch for decades, stuffing his home in the Russian Bottoms neighborhood with thousands of toys, dolls, mementos, etc. The collection is open to the public. He's begun making art from pieces in his collection and in January 2007 showed them at the Haydon Art Center. However, his home -- if you can find it -- is the best place to experience the wonderfully weird collection.
