Twin Lakes, Colorado: Fake Cop

The fake cop in Twin Lakes is no longer in existence. After speaking with the owner of the ONE gas station in town, it seems the fake cop was "stolen" and has been missing for quite some time. We went through Twin Lakes in search of the fake cop as part of a statewide scavenger hunt with our women's motorcycle group. I guess we now head to Alamosa to find the other fake cop. :-)

Don't worry about the police car sitting just east of Twin Lakes, Colorado between Leadville and Aspen. The cop inside is a dummy. The town is too small to have a police force and uses this dummy inside a police car to get you to slow down as you come into town. He has been there for at least the past four years.
