New location for this themed restaurant just opened in Blaine MN. Husband and kid took me there for Mother's Day. The decor was "Destroy all Humans" kitschy, and there was someone walking around in a big alien costume. Food was tasty. Mixed drinks were good and well priced for a newer suburban joint. The games were all to win tickets, which can be traded in for prizes (my son and I blew $20 on tokens for games, and ended up with over 500 tickets. He used 300 for a little gumball machine, and we'll come back to spend the rest).
Yeah, there are lots of kids there, but it's sort of like a Chuck E Cheese set in Area 51. The decor is fun to look at, and some is interactive (luminous disks on the wall by the booths). Tables can be a bit unwieldy - at first we were at a table that got bumped by everyone coming into or going out of the room we were in.
