Metal Art Town Out in the middle of some of the flattest land you'll ever see is Tatum, NM. It didn't seem remarkable in any way, but quickly you'll notice practically every store, every mail box, every building in town has a piece of beautiful, elaborate metal art decorating it.
I noticed a metal work business in town. It may be the only game in town, but the town sure supports the business. Perhaps my favorite piece was a depiction of the flag raising at Iwo Jima on the east side of town. [Rhonda Reddick, 05/29/2007]
