Cincinnati, Ohio - Flying Pig Statue Located in the "A" concourse of the Cincinnati Northern Kentucky Airport, tucked back by gates A2-A3, is a statue to honor Cincinnati for being the city of flying pigs. Cincinnati got this moniker because years ago trainloads of pigs would be shipped to there for slaughter. When the train doors opened, pigs would "fly" out of the train cars and run all over parts of the city, trying to evade becoming bacon. [Greg, 06/22/2007]Address: Cincinnati, OH
