Rabbit Hash General Store
Rabbit Hash is a very small hamlet in KY, right on the Ohio River. The Mayor is usually a dog, sometimes a pig. There is a General Store full of weird stuff. Many times the area is packed with motorcycles. Really fun and relaxing drive.
[Kathleen H, 03/19/2009]A working general store since 1831. Located at a bend in the Ohio River, great view from the bank. The store often has live music. Town used to have an community yard sale but it's been canceled until further notice. The store is also on the National Historic Register.
Another weird note, the mayor of Rabbit Hash is a dog named "Junior". Elections were held after the previous mayor "Goofy" was euthanized.
