Large, yellowish-orange spook lights have frequently been spotted along a mile-long stretch of county road since the early 1970s.

- County Rd. 272, Cloverdale, AL
- Directions:
- From the crossroads town of Cloverdale, drive southeast on Hwy 157/Cloverdale Rd for one mile, then turn left (east) onto Route 272. From that intersection to about a mile eastward is where the lights are seen, usually from sunset until midnight. They travel west-east or east-west, paralleling the road.
