There's a great shoe tree located on highway 395 just north of the Quincy turnoff in CA and about 35 miles north of Reno, NV. Shoes come and go but the tree remained there after the road was widened last year![Donna P, 06/01/2008]

Approx 2 1/2 miles north of Hallelujah Junction on us 395 is south Lassen county's shoe tree. Occasionally removed, locals have prevailed and keep this local tradition alive.
