Visited 7/15/10. Considering how close to the freeway it is, I'd be hard pressed for a reason not to stop. Lathrop has two exits; it's the Lathrop Avenue one. Don't miss the little boy being beamed up -- my personal favorite part. [Chris, 07/16/2010]

I visited in December, 2009. The UFO is still in place on the roof; reports of its demise are premature. Inside the building it looks like an alien takeover. They looted the place after the crash because many of the green guys are carrying eggs, milk, soda pop, etc. This is the most fun c-store I've ever been to. Thanks, Roadside America! The SuperCheaper convenience store has an alien flying saucer which has crashed into the roof. There's also a whole bunch of the little green buggers inside, sticking bread on themselves, lathering themselves with whipped cream, hoarding milk... Pretty darn amazing. Location: I-5, a little south of Stockton; take the Lathrop exit, and it's right there. The saucer on the roof isn't lit at night, so it's hard to see then. Also, go see it soon, because the saucer was ok'd by local officials, but not the 3 or four Martians on top of it on the roof -- see them before Cheaper is forced to take them down.
