Kingman, Arizona - 3,333.33 Feet Above Sea Level Marker

Kingman's old powerhouse now serves as the Powerhouse Museum, which houses a Route 66 Museum and visitor's center, as well as being home to the Arizona Route 66 Association. The building was home to the Desert Power & Water Company from 1907-1911. The bolt is located to the right of the door above the Historical Society plaque. [Ron Morrissette, 10/07/2009]

A bolt near the main entrance to the Powerhouse (Kingman, Arizona's visitor center) marks 3,333.33 feet above sea level. The Powerhouse is the city's former electric generation station, located off Old Route 66, and has since been converted into a museum and visitor center. Just to the right of the front door, and about 12 feet from the ground is the bolt and a nondescript sign. [Jason Britton, 12/31/2007]
