Part of the house, an old storefront, was built by Finster, and still contains evidence of his work. Leonardis intends to transform it into a folk art bed and breakfast.
The house is next to Finster's Paradise Gardens, which is only open by appointment and in need of funding and volunteers to restore it. Though still impressive, some of the buildings are on the verge of collapse, and the sculptures and paintings are fading and weathering. [RoadsideAmerica.com Team, 01/08/2008]
