The Flamingo Motel is closed, but the large flamingo remains, although slightly tatty. It's at the northern branch of the motel, a bit down the road from the southern branch.

Is this the World's Largest Flamingo? Hard to say. I spoke with Debbie at the front desk and she said that some Rand McNally guide books list it as. All I can say, it certainly is large.

Other than the addition of the fake rocks around it, that Flamingo statue/sign has been unchanged since the early 1990s. It sometimes gets lost in the overwhelming radiance of the Dells.
