Some statues could use a little TLC -- still worth the drive-by. We parked on the shoulder to take our time in seeing all the sites. Keep your eyes peeled, because it always seems there's another statue lurking in the foliage. [Pam S, 07/03/2009]

Between Harrisville and Croghan, there's sculpture garden, cedar log ranch and a pond with two islands spread over 3 acres. Veronica Terrillion created the home and sculptures from 1954 through the 1990s before her death in 2003, age 95.

The subjects range from Veronica's religious faith (there's a a life size nativity scene), to figures resembling members of her family, to nature scenes and animals. [cheryl ames, 04/09/2008]
