Oahu, Hawaii - Halona Blowhole

This is an old volcanic lava tube that got as far as the ocean. When the surf is right, water shoots up the tube and explodes out the other end as high as 30 feet in the air. Think of it as Hawaii's version of the Old Faithful geyser. The best time to visit the Blowhole is on windy days at high tide. [RoadsideAmerica.com Team, 04/25/2008]
