Museum of American Glass

The Museum of American Glass displays things you would never think could be made from glass -- such as a glass bikini. There are about eight separate buildings arranged almost like a village. Just the main building will take longer that you think to digest. They love paperweights. They have rotating glass exhibitions all year. They offer glass blowing classes with a reservation.

Museum of American Glass

Kind of hard to find, but really worth the effort. Over 5,000 pieces of glass in well presented and documented museum. Gallery feel and very friendly people. Glass blowing and design also done on property. Allow a little more time than you think...

World's Largest Hand Blown Glass Bottle.

World's Largest Bottle

The Museum of American Glass at Wheaton Village displays the World's Largest Bottle. I know it took several tries to get the big bottle right, and it was based on an attempt earlier in the century. Millville has a major glass history, so they wanted to celebrate that with the World's Largest Bottle.

Here is photo provided by shutterbug Doug Host of the World's Largest Hand Blown Glass Bottle -- it is 288 gallons in volume.
