Los Fresnos, Texas - Little Graceland

I have just returned from the home of Simon Vega. He has turned his home into a memorial to Elvis Presley. He calls it, appropriately, Little Graceland. Elvis was an army buddy of Vega. Mr. Vega relates his personal stories of Elvis as he shares two rooms of memorabilia. Mr. Vega has recreated the gates to Graceland for his driveway, an assurance to visitors that they have come to the right place. He has a box for donations and he sells tee-shirts for those wanting a memento for themselves. He's a nice guy. [Barbara Williams, 07/09/2000]
