Carlsbad, California - Full Size Windmill Towering over the freeway at the Palomar Airport exit on I-5, stands a full size windmill with blades that actually turn. This was originally one of the former Pea Soup Anderson's "chain" of restaurants (I think there's one other up south of Fresno). It now houses a banquet facility and is the entrance for a TGIFridays restaurant. It's also part of a Holiday Inn hotel complex.
