Waffle House Museum

Thanks to your site I noticed the Waffle House museum was going to be open to the public once a month. We went last Sunday and were delighted by what we found. Lots of great photo ops and a tour by the daughter of the builder of Waffle House #1. [Bam-Bam, 04/20/2010]

Waffle House Museum

I've been trying to get into the Waffle House Museum and I finally called the HQ and they say that viewings are by appointment only, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday 10-2. Also, you cannot get an appointment unless you have a group of 10 or more. So I am curious if anyone else wants to go too, I will arrange an appointment. Dying to go! Email me so I can arrange it! Waffle House #1

It appears Waffle House has regained the property of the original #1. No longer a Chinese Restaurant, it's in the process of renovation. It's coming along quite nicely and should be open in about a month or so. [Lucy Pfeffa, 05/04/2008]

If this restaurant does add historic exhibits, Waffle House will finally have a permanent place for historical bragging (in 2005, their 50th Anniversary exhibit was hosted at the World of Coca-Cola in Atlanta).]
