Seattle, Washington - Toe Truck - Left Foot Lincoln Towing had two Toe Trucks. The Left Foot is the original (formally a VW Microbus) and was stored on the roof at 609 Fairview Av N Seattle for many years. It was subjected to 2 car accidents into the bldg. and a couple of arson attempts before the owners Ed and Connie Lincoln sold the tow company to Roadone.
They had it fully refurbished -- something that it was really in need of (mushrooms were growing in the back). After it was refurbished it traveled one more time in the Seafair Torchlight parade. Not long after, it was donated to the Washington State Museum of History and Industry, where it is now on display. [Marvin, 06/30/2008]
